Leadership Summit

Thousands of church members hoping to make more disciples gathered at sites around the world to participate in the Leadership Summit webcast April 6. Nearly 80 leaders – both lay and clergy – from across the South Georgia Conference gathered at the Methodist Home in Macon to be a part of the webcast.  Altogether, there were more than 4,000 web connections to the three-hour event. It was the first chance for many to hear how denominational leaders plan to carry out the recommendations in the Call to Action Steering Team’s final report to increase vital congregations.
